Way back when I read some advice about how to build an audience for your blog, which could just be translated to how to build an audience. It had a questionnaire about your goal and a one sentence description of what your blog would be.  Now I used to love to blog. All the time. About anything and everything. Seriously, I named a blog Brain Clutter. Fast forward 5 years later and over 500 blog posts under my belt…I felt I had nothing more to say. At least not in length. Fast forward two years after those five…

So, I turned to twitter. Then Facebook. But I kept thinking about content. What would be my thing. The one thing that peeps could always come to me and find. If they didn’t pay attention to anything else, what would be the surefire thing they’d come to me for. Because on those days where work has you slightly brain dead (like today) coming up with something original and engaging is a bit tough.

Facebook became the answer. See, I’m sure you see funny memes all the time. Grumpy Cat, et al. I decided to post the thing that made me laugh and made me laugh hard. Here’s a few:

Now this is my thing. Folks seem to like it and sometimes they post some of the most hilarious stuff on my wall. It’s engaging.
