For me there's a big difference between culture and race and where I live that's the one I see more often than not. I live next door to Mexican Americans steeped deeply in what people consider strictly African American side of their culture. We have very thin walls so I can hear all the music they play. They play more rap than I do. But when my car had broken down and I needed a ride down the street all I had to was ask. We both know what it's like to need a helping hand every now and again. That's human experience. Our race, our color didn't come into play.If for a second someone can understand that idea than it shouldn't be hard to write unless you plan to write about a specific culture that can be a deeply traditional Asian community or Suburbia.
