This proves IMO that women ARE stronger mentally. We don't <i>need</i> to insert a "body" into our lives soon after losing a loved one. If anything, we crave our space because we not only need time to grieve, but we need to reestablish our sense of independence. Once the wound has healed and we've got a sense of ourselves again, we're ready to reconnect. Men on the other hand don't seem to take the time to think. They just plow right in there, which is why they will always remain less emotionally mature than we are. This is not bigotry or sexism, it's just reality.
