Checking In From Deadline Island
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day (ie no fighting children, no forgetful hubbys etc). I have two blog posts started and a headache. For that reason I’m going to point you here. Fellow author Shiloh Walker is doing an ebay auction to benefit cyclone victims in Myanmar (via Save the Children). The full list of items can be seen here.
What did you do for Mother’s Day? We saw Iron Man and looked at cats (no I didn’t get one).
the no fighting was a wash… the WHOLE way home frm the MILs #3 & 4 fought… and hours worth… almsot ruined my nice lunch w/ my mom and bro…
the dh did NOT forget, got me something… wouldn’t have bought it for myself, but since he did it was nice (a digital photo frame)

LOL Raine I need another cat like I need a hole in my head! DS wants a dog–even bigger hole though now would be a good time sine the boys are out of school in three weeks but dogs are like men…they require so much WORK!
My lovely mother took the kids to SeaWorld this weekend. I slept and then slept some more. My mother’s day was wonderful.
Went to church, out to eat, took the kids to see Baby Mama. Luckily the live oak theater was not packed
