Super Commercials?
So for the first time in the history of man I watched the Super Bowl…yes for the commercials. I have to say overall……NOT IMPRESSED. Apparently, I missed all the good ones. The Budweiser/Rocky thing just didn’t work for me. Nor did the Gatoraid drinking dog.
Loved the testosterone filled Underarmour one though (I love UA), the Audi R8 (I WANT), the commercial for Terminator (I call shotgun….I call 9MM), the Bridgestone commercial with Richard Simmons (and was that Alice Cooper?) and the Coke Float (FINALLY Charlie Brown gets his due!!!!!!).

I read a book–the game was on of course too many men in the house not to be. I did watch the end of the game and despite the dh’s ire I rooted for little Eli to kill Brady–hate Brady–don’t know why I have an opinion but I do . . . and I whooped when they scored w/ 30 seconds left! (if they’re gonna beat the ‘Boys and knock ‘em out of playoff the least they can do is win the whole damn thing IMO)
oh and the ‘mercials . . . didn’t watch much at all (but they’re recorded-der!)
I always root for underdogs!
I had my reasons for rooting for the Giants - amongst them the smugness of the Patriots. Plus, the Giants were representing the NFC, our division.
I loved the Richard Simmons one - yes that was Alice Cooper - even though I kinda like the guy, he can still get on my nerves and I’ve often wanted to run him over. I liked the one with the lizards, etc. dancing to Thriller. Oh, and the one that ran only in the pregame show - the Pepsi commercial with the two deaf guys trying to find the house where they are going to watch the game. Although I couldn’t understand why everyone on the street would be asleep at that time …
I meant running down Richard Simmons, not Alice Cooper.
And yeah, use me and abuse me why don’t you - test ignore my foot.

I don’t watch football, but thanks for the link to the commericals. I agree, most of them were boring. The ony one I really liked with the loud Tide stain (lol) and the Budweiser ‘breathe fire’ one was cute too.
The Budweiser commercial with the Clydesdale was my fave.
I’m a sucker for animals. What can I say.
I like the Bud Light one where the guy breathes fire too. When he toasts everything in the room because he’s allergic to the cat, that’s entertainment. :)
Didn’t watch the show but I did see a few of the commercials afterward. I especially like the Pepsi commercial. I think some of the others can be viewed on You Tube.
Bernard that was SUCH a guy commerical but I loved it too
