Inquiring Minds
Let’s cut to the chase.
If you’ve dropped in to read, browse, waste a little time, we’d really appreciate a little feedback.
Several bloggers have noticed the “blah” factor on blogs lately, that things are slow, etc…
What is it you’re looking for when you visit an author-based blog? Excerpts? Contests? Writing advice? Insight into the personal lives of the bloggers? Entertainment? Sexy talk? Pearls of wisdom?
Is there anything you’d LIKE to see on blogs in general, or have you pretty much tired of all of them?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks for any insight!
(and BTW—an interview with MS. Stuart can be found today on Milady’s blog).

Ga!
Been wondering about that very thing.
Maybe we need more boobs… LOL
is that better?
Mik, as long as they are not mine, that’s fine -
Thanks for the link, Raine!
I have no insight to offer, because I don’t think blogging about blogger ennui is gaining me any readers.
Bernita, let us know if you come up with anything!
Ladies, I think that, between us all, we’ve got boob power to spare!
But since most of the folks who visit these blogs are women, don’t think they’d be impressed…
Well, May, we could blog about blogs blogging about blogging ennui.
I know, I know, you’re right, lol. Just trying to get some ideas about what people ARE looking for.
I stopped by tonight, or actually it’s morning, to say thank you to all of you for the prize that I won in the excerpt contest. I was shocked when I put the CD in and saw all the books you sent. Wow!!! I was dancing….Thank you, Thank you!!!
To answer your question….I don’t have anything specific that I’m looking for in blogs. I find all kinds of interesting topics on books and non-book related items. I like to hear others opinions on movies, books, whatever interest you and life in general. Even though I doubt I’ll ever be a writer, I still read posts about writing. I’m such a book fan that I find it interesting to know what an author goes through and the “behind the scenes” of a writer’s life and book publishing. In most cases when I don’t read a blog, it’s because I just don’t have enough time not because it’s not interesting. I tend to think there are a ton of lurkers out there like me. I don’t post often because writing isn’t something that comes easy for me and it takes me 30 minutes to post four sentences. lol I’m not even going to tell you how long it took to type this.
Kim, you’re more than welcome! Hope you enjoy the reading.
And thanks for the feedback, it’s much appreciated.
Hmmmmmm maybe we need to shake things up some?
