Mirror Mirror
So I get totally anal every now and again and I decided to catalogue my Heroes/Heroines. I worried that all my folks look the same and holy hell do they ever. All my Heroines are a tad on the short side with ever voluptuous curves and moxie to spare (boy she sounds familiar). The tallest gal in my gaggle of girls is 5’8” – I will say next to me, that is tall, but in the grand scheme of all things topping out in Supermodel stratosphere not so much.
My Heroes tend to be on status with quarterbacks; all well over six feet tall. Though I have one that is 5’11” and only because I modeled him after someone VERY specific and said fellow is not overly tall.
So I am guessing I have a “type” I tend to lean towards. (Though I will say, I tend to give sparingly on my descriptions – I tend not to read them much when in a book, so I try not to inundate the reader – let them fill in the blanks as much as they want to – though I also try not to leave the H/H blank – but I digress…)
How about you? What’s your type?
My heroines sort of vary quite a bit. I’ve had thin and delicate to overweight and curvy.
My heroes tend to be six-feet or under. Solid, but not too beefy. I like the ‘charming rogue’ type, and I enjoy throwing them for a loop. But also mature, serious men, capable of great feeling.
My current hero is modeled after Billy Bob Thornton :mrgreen::mrgreen:

I am going to try and vary the next few and see how I manage.

Hugh Jackman, and let’s see, uh, Hugh Jackman. And did I mention Hugh Jackman? Bebo says I need to expand more. *sigh*
I found that I was going for a lot of blonds for the heroine, so I’ve expanded that too.
No real type. Unless you count Hugh Jackman.
My heroines tend to be sassy and redhead. Wonder why? ;) And when I realize I keep using that over and over again, it’s time to bring out the red pen.
For my heroes… I want tall (at least six foot tall), devastatingly handsome. Scruffy looking. Sarcastic. Chest hair is a must. I don’t like smooth-chested men. haha I tend to lean toward green-eyed men (shut up Ames haha) but I do try to make myself pick something else. Hey in my current WIP, my hero has blue eyes! And brown hair. Now that’s progress! Right?
LOL Bailey… you couldn’t have picked a better guy!
Mik - never thought much on the chest hair… hmm… gonna have to see where I have some on my next hero
