Barely Used
Sooo, here it is, barely a few days old.
The New Year.
Yup. That’s what it is alright. Okay. Um-hmmm. Here we are.
The problem with finding ourselves in a “new place” is that we’re usually still carrying baggage from our previous journey. Some of it is important, of course. Lessons learned. They keep us from making the same mistakes again and again (hopefully!).
But how do we walk away with the lessons learned while leaving as much of the negative crap behind as possible? How do we maintain the optimism and hope, despite past failures, disappointments—even fear? Is it ever really possible to start fresh?
How do you plan to make your New Year really new?

Febreze …
And some Voodoo charms.
No seriously, organizing, changing my comfort zone, getting the rest of 2006 boxed up and dealt with (mom). The last one is the most important - I’m still stepping around boxes and I can’t get on with my life until this is done.
Wish I knew.
Query widely, maybe?
More than once every 6 months?
By starting a new WIP.
This will be a year of adjustment for you, Bailey.
But as a member in good standing of the League of Tough Broads, you can do it.
Oh yes, Bernita, you must!
Once every six months is barely enough to become disillusioned.
May, that’s always a good one.
You better have some optomism and hope cuz I got plans for you this year missy and they involve FEBREZEEEEEEEEEE
no clue
I’m selling my house and moving closer to my family.
Ames, I’m always…well, CAUTIOUSLY optimistic.
Dennie, lol!
Maybe you’re just fine in the place you’re at.
Estella, that sounds great! Best of luck.
Ames is going to spray Raine with Febreze?
…Ames is going to spray Raine with Febreze?
Bring it.
A move to FL and lots of therapy.
Melissa—can we all get a group rate?
